ABB Coiltech, a world leader in industrial cooling and ventilation systems manufactures 50,000 coils per year in its plant in Söderköping, Sweden. The first within the ABB group to be awarded ISO9001, they work to tight leadtimes averaging 7 days with small batch sizes.
Their previous parametric system was limited and incompatible with their CAM system, which in turn did not support the RAS technology of the Finn Power SG-6. When the decision was made to purchase the SG-6, ABB took Finn Power's recommendation of JETCAM Expert as their preferred CAM system, supplied by Din Maskin.
