JETCAM Order Controller (JOC)
Remotely create orders for components or assemblies for use within JETCAM Expert
JETCAM Orders Controller (JOC) simplifies the creation of orders for single components or component assemblies stored in the JETCAM Expert CADCAM system. With JOC users can easily insert components into JETCAM Expert’s auto nesting interface module, either interactively or fully automatically using Remote Control Processing (RCP). Support is included for ordering from external systems using fully configurable CSV import facility. JOC's component ordering system allows users to create and maintain multiple and unlimited order lists, which are completely configurable by the user.
CAD Import to JETCAM Expert (using RCP)
JOC allows users to automatically import and process existing CAD drawings using JETCAM Expert’s Remote Control Processing system. CAD files can also include part program information (PPI - such as material and thickness) which JOC can use to obtain additional data about imported components.
Assemblies
JOC groups components into assemblies in a logical manner, which is useful when components are part of one or more assembly. This also avoids the need to create duplicate component files for identical components when those components are used in multiple assemblies. The assembly management system includes support for component lay-up (kitting) sequencing, often used when cutting composite materials.
Reports
Another major strength of JOC is its reporting engine, which is compatible with existing JETCAM Expert FMS (nest) report files, allowing users to quickly produce reports for existing nests. A custom report designer program is also available allowing users to design their own reports. This enables you to choose any report design when producing a nest report. There is no limit on the number of report designs that can be created.
Multi-User Support
Multiple JOC systems can work together, also in tandem with JETCAM Expert’s multi-user environment, with files that are in use within Expert being locked within JOC automatically. Options are also available to limit JOC's functionality and access on a per-user basis.
Other features include JETCAM Material Stock (MRP Stock) viewer and editor, along with the ability to define links into external applications, giving users a single interface to perform common functions. A global component preview engine is also included.
With JETCAM Orders Controller installed alongside your JETCAM Expert system there is simply no quicker way to create, maintain and automatically process the ordering of complex component and assembly structures. The reporting module gives immediate information in a highly customisable format.

When used with JETCAM's Remote Control Processing (RCP) option, the software will automatically monitor JETCAM processing systems availability and can delegate orders processing to the most suitable/available JETCAM Expert system.

Support exists to prioritize orders lists so that the automatic dispatching of orders takes into account orders that need to be processed urgently.

The software will track orders status for multiple orders lists that are being processed simultaneously. Orders tracking is persistant in that the software may be shut-down and when restarted, will automatically continue tracking and processing your orders.

The software has full support for assembly/sub assembly based component databases and ordering. This has been found to be particulaly useful in vehicle and aircraft manufacturing industries

The component ordering system will accept orders for assemblies, sub-assemblies or for individual components whether orders are generated from inside the software or from your external MRP system

- DETAILED REPORTS
- Detailed reports are available for all orders lists that have completed processing, indicating the parts that were produced and global nest information, tooling information and more
- The software records associations between nests automatically when multiple nests derive from a single orders list.
- Additionally, the built in Vector View module allows you to view the nest associated with any nest report and has functions to allow you to identify parts on the nest
- CAD IMPORT
- Integrated support exists for importing (converting) your CAD files from external CAD file formats to JETCAM component geometry. This import process includes automatic tooling of each imported component for any number of pre-defined machine tools
- Additionally, the CAD Import system can automatically add imported components to the internal Assembly database if your facility will be using assembly based ordering.
- The CAD import facility includes customizable PPI translation schemas that allow additional data to be imported with each CAD file
- JETCAM COMPONENT INFORMATION
- JETCAM component information is readily available at all times, including information for components in orders lists. Displayed Information includes component vector image, tooling and "Ready for Production" status
- The Component File Explorer, Assembly Database, Orders manager and CAD Import facility all offer this capability right there on screen
